Review of E.K. Blair's Bang
Ladies if you are looking for a book that will have you questioning everything you believe in. How far you would go for retribution? Then Bang is definitely the book for you! I enjoyed every single second of this book! I have to say it definitely was a mind trip and I kept thinking, "Oh my God" and more than a few "What the hell" moments!

When I first read the synopsis of Bang I was immediately intrigued. I'm a fan of dark romance reads... even if there isn't any "romance" per se. I can honestly say I was not prepared for this book. Bang was superb, absolutely intriguing and a real struggle for me as to whether or not Nina was a villain or a .....
There's so much I want to say about this book but I can't really give you much. Part of the journey is reading it. This is one book that a reader must experience themselves. There are so many things that are spoon fed to you through out the book that it's up to the reader to gather all the pieces... I will say the common theme of this book for me was.......
I'm dead serious about that too! My mind was blown! At times, I questioned if I would find all the pieces when I finished this one. It was a thrilling ride that I did experience moments of.....

I literally couldn't sit still why reading Bang! I wanted answers IMMEDIATELY but I knew those answers, well some, would come the further I read and let me tell you the further I read the more ....
I thought. The back story is absolutely horrific. E.K. did a fabulous job not holding back on the story. That made the difference to me and I admit to...
Lines were definitely blurred. Many times I re-read passages to confirm that I did indeed read that. The usual how could this... why didn't... OMG! no freaking way did THAT just happen went through my mind. I couldn't figure out if I wanted to .......

for Nina. It was a constant struggle to define how I felt about her and I can honestly say I still don't know exactly how I feel for her. The synopsis alludes to a life that could've been and I strongly feel that once you reach the end of this one you will have to decide for yourself if such a life was ever meant to be....
There are three male's in this book that play a huge part in Nina's life. Pike who "knows" Nina. Bennett her husband and then Declan who I will let you experience all yourself. I will admit that if Declan....

The closer I got to the end of Bang the more.....
my thoughts became. I wanted something to happen and wondered how it could even turn out that way. Then I wondered........

in my house. I knew I was in for a helluva a trip at the end but let's just say I was totally....
When I finished the book I read the last part again. I kept thinking...
I mean seriously this couldn't happen or did that happen? Wait, what's next for this series? E.K. wouldn't just ..... Oh but she did and that cued my ..........

I loved it! I adored it! Hell, I re-read the ending because it was PERFECT..... I went in blind.. I despise spoilers and I avoided every review out there. It's worth going in it without a heads up. You have to let your pre-conceived notations about certain social situations go otherwise you will drive yourself insane. E.K. will challenge your moral beliefs believe me she absolutely positively did mine.
Bang is a well written story of lies, deceit, heart wrenching pain, gut twisting actions that leave you questioning each and every action taken. A total and complete 5+++++ star read for me. It will leave you reeling, perhaps a little ill? There were situations that I felt empathy for Nina. There were situations that I wondered how insane these people actually were. I had hope while I was reading this one and now I'm left wondering if there really are such things as fairytale endings.
I don't usually quote the books in my review but I cannot forget a certain quote "Taste your lies, Nina" OMG! I didn't realize how much that one sentence would come to mean to me by the end of the book.
I highly recommend this thrilling, suspenseful, heart stopping read! I can't wait for the next book in this series! I'm chomping at the bit for it! I have many, many, many questions and a few theories and when an author leaves me craving more once I finish reading then they have succeeded, in my opinion, in delivering a stellar read.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the author for allowing me to advance read Bang. Once I read this book I had to own it and purchased it once it was released. This is a book I can and will re-read if only to see what I might have not "picked" up on my first time through but also because it was fanfreakingtastic!
